Description
...colored pencil? Yay for uncreative titles!
I really feel bad for not posting new stuff since i've been swamped with school, so here's a result of school.
This...honestly looks better in person. It's a project for school. We had to do something that was involved with photography in some way or another. That was it. Most people just went the photorealism route or took a picture. I took a picture, put it in photoshop, did a fade to white with the gradient tool, printed it out, and then drew back in the part that was whited-out. I used crayola colored pencils since I'm a poor college student who can't afford prismacolor. TT^TT
I don't really work with colored pencils much anymore, and i really never tried realism with them when i did, so this was a challenge. I like how it turned out tho.
And, since it's half photo, half drawing, I think it belongs in mixed media, but i'm not sure (since mixed media was then itself split between digital and traditional ).

Awesome idea. I like the effect it gives.
