Hakkai and Hakuryuu

ok, so i'm gonna get all the official stuff out of the way first since i'm likely to forget otherwise...

i drew in the fur and eyes and the original picture was taken by my friend may while i was holding her ferret, which was used as the base. that's pretty much it for where everything came from.

the process was a little familiar, and a little new. i've been fooling around with photomanipulations for a while now, but combining all the animals like that was new. the scales over the rest were the toughest part. that, and trying to keep detail while making the whole creature as white as possible.

anyways, this is my Hakkai cosplay. i have yet to obtain a Hakuryuu (or Jeep, depending on which you prefer), so i borrowed my friend's ferret, teto, to replace him. i liked how the picture looked, so i edited it. end of story.

i like the picture, since it shows a different angle on my cosplay than this one: [link] and it feels a little more 'real' since i didn't have to add in a completely different light source. i really can't wait to get in the other pictures i got of this cosplay too. it's sooooo much fun to wear.
