Me and Track

These are a series of 10 drawings that I did for class at UCSD my last quarter there. The assignment was to do 10 drawings that had one common theme, and since I know myself very well, I decided to make how I relate to things my theme. They're in no particular order outside of what worked well in the presentation of them.

This is the third one, Track. As you can probably guess...I did high jump. I really loved that event. I felt like I was flying as I went over the bar. Thus, I put on wings in the drawing. If you can't guess, I like the feeling of flying. Anyways, I kinda liked this more before I colored it...but that happens. I did put myself in my old track uniform from high school...felt it was appropriate.

Medium: India ink and nibs for the outlines, and watercolor for the rest.
