tsuyoko reference sheet

this is my original character Tsuyoko. don't bother looking, there isn't anything else of her in my gallery. she is the by-product of a conversation i had with my roommate.

basically, we were complaining about how our stuff was heavy and we didn't want to walk home, and i brought up that i really wanted telekenisis (sp ), the ability to move things with mind in case i did the wrong term. anywayz, from there it went to how the world would be structured differently if humans had telekenisis since the begining of time. how buildings and transportation would be different. there are so many posibilities. i wanted to draw out this world, but i suck at landscapes; i prefer people. so i wanted a story to be placed in this world to give me an excuse to draw it. so to form the most basic plot possible, in a world where everyone can use telekenisis, the one person who can't. thats Tsuyoko.

in the world that she's in, besides what i have already described, it is really similar to ours. except for the whole no stairs or elevators or anything. buildings are usually built up and can get pretty high. the closer to ground level you get, the more nasty the neighborhood is. training telekenisis is just like training you body. there are different exercises that can be done and the more you work the more you can lift. the basic weight limit is usually about twice what you weigh. babies learn to walk and use telekenisis at about the same time. there are devices that have been developed that can supress these poweres when you are within a certain radius of said device. oh, and how smart you are has absolutely nothing to do with the strength of ur telekenisis. the basic stuff.

personality-wise, um...where to start. lets just start where-ever. she is a really nice, pretty, fun, smart, and athletic person. if it wasn't for her "handicap" then she would probably be pretty popular, but because of it she is bullied and teased. she is more physically fit than just about anybody else in this world since she is forced to use her muscles instead of her mind to do daily things. she is 22 and currently going to college. she also has a job as a trainer in a gym, since people do still pay attention to physical health. needless to say her courses aren't very popular, but she makes a decent amount of money since there aren't many people who want her job. she lives with a friend from the orphanege where she grew up. her friend is 28 and has a basic, low-paying job that i have not decided on yet. they live together in a very, very cheap appartment, not because they can't afford a better one (tsuyoko could probably buy a small house with what she has saved up), but because it is on ground level, making it easier for tsuyoko to get out. her roommate/best friend is kinda a ditz, but is extremely kind and loyal. she protected tsuyoko when they were kids and still does.

finally, about the deviation itself. i usually dont fill in the background anymore, but i just couldn't stand all the white in this one. i'm pretty happy with how it came out, especially because i paid a little more attention to detail than normal this time. i don't know if i will actually work that metal symbol into the story or not at this time. and man, i love the hairstyle. i just think it's neat, and unique to tsuyoko.

i changed her name from maiya to tsuyoko. her old name sounded too much like the name of my other main character.
